Streamlined, bespoke solution for care advice platform

My Care Hub is an established platform operating within the care information space, connecting various end users and intermediaries with trusted, up-to-date and authoritative information.

Having used WordPress to develop version 1 of the platform, they were being held back by the WordPress platform with the maintenance of managing and updating the various plugins taking time and the lack of scalability inhibiting growth.

We moved the platform to a fully bespoke system with the smart front-end retained but a full overhaul of the back-end, streamlining the user system and positioning the platform to be able to cope with multiple tiers of advisers and users.

"After launching several websites over the years, it took us time, and many mistakes to find the 'right' partner. For us, the right partner needs to have a set of skills that we've now realised is fairly unique in the tech space. This is a rare hybrid: the technical expertise to accomplish the required work simply and cost-effectively, combined with the ability to communicate clearly so all stakeholders (particularly non-technical ones) understand. If you own a small or medium business and don't recruit in-house IT experts, you will undertand how important this is. The team at Studio 44 has been invaluable in helping My Care Consultant bring a better version of our My Care Hub portal to market, and we look forward to continuing the working relationship as our business scales."

A scalable solution

The end result has been a huge success with a far more robust solution in place for the My Care Hub team. This has enabled My Care Hub to roll out new products and features, save on administrative time when it comes to the system and crucially have a platform that can scale, grow and evolve alongside their thriving business.
