Online Sewing Subscription Club
The Half Yard Sewing Club is an extremely popular members club that has been formed on the back of the Half Yard series of books. When forming the club, an online subscription platform was needed that would enable members to sign up, pay and renew online.
A key challenge was the varying technical abilities of the members. The website has a strong emphasis on usability with the aim to make all processes on the website as easy as they can be for users – whether they are signing up for the first time, posting on the forum or downloading the most recent project.

A key element of the website was to keep visitors engaging and coming back regularly. The forum provides this, but just as importantly the monthly projects give members a reason to log back in each month. These provide a step by step sewing project to members. Some of the steps are often complex and our bespoke CMS facilitates the easy upload of projects for administrators.
