Working for a multi award-winning web agency, this role represents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, dynamic individual to join a fast paced, forward thinking digital marketing department based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The Role

We’re looking for a talented content marketing manager to join us and work on a variety of accounts. The content marketing manager will be accountable for a range of content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement and leads that deliver sales and customer retention for our clients.

Working within our digital marketing team, the content marketing manager will assist in creating digital content for our clients in the form of website copy, blog/article content and social media content. These tasks will assist in optimising client campaigns for search engines and across multiple social media platforms. You will enjoy working as part of a wider team, but also be self-motivated and comfortable completing tasks on your own.

We’re looking for a minimum of 2 years’ experience in content marketing, and would expect the successful candidate to have a qualification in journalism/media, marketing or English. The successful candidate will embrace all things marketing related and have a passion to build brands online.

Core Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of client websites including:
    • Creation of search engine friendly blog content
    • Creation of search engine friendly website copy from scratch
    • Alteration of website copy to be optimised for search engines
  • Day to day management of client social media accounts including:
    • Creation of quality content
    • Sharing of content where appropriate
    • Active following and interaction with other social media users
  • Develop and write content for Studio44 articles and social media accounts
  • Creation of ad copy for paid search campaigns
  • Review of Google Analytics and Google Search Console for clients
  • Measuring of success as well as reporting and analysis on various campaigns using various available tools
  • Working closely with the web development team to provide guidance in marketing and boosting sales leads for clients
  • Work as very much part of the digital marketing team

Personal Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in content marketing
  • Degree educated in journalism/media, marketing or English
  • Good standard of English
  • Enthusiasm for marketing – attitude is very important
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Punctual and well organised with excellent time management skills
  • Honest, trustworthy and personable

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of Google Adwords, Google Analytics and Search Console
  • SEO knowledge/experience
