I wouldn't be human if I hadn't had been nervous on my first day upon arriving at Studio44 however Larry collected me from reception and introduced me to the team who were all friendly and smiley considering it was a Monday morning. I was seated at a desk next to Larry while he set up my Studio44 email and let me settle in. Later on I was introduced to Will, Digital Marketing Manager, and he set me the task of researching SEO and then picking a section I liked to then write an article about. I decided to challenge myself and write about Link Building, you can read the article here.

On the Tuesday I researched into ways to improve your search rank through Social Media so I was looking at a different side of SEO than the day before. This really helped me on Wednesday when I looked at SEO in more detail.

Wednesday brought an early start as Larry and I attended a Tunbridge Wells BNI meeting which commenced at 6.00am. The meeting has been my favourite experience at Studio44 due to being able to see so many different business men and women all together and learning more about BNI as a whole, how professional it was run yet still very enjoyable. In the afternoon I wrote another article on my experience at the meeting and if you are interested in how it went then feel free to take a read here.

Yesterday I learnt so much as Will allowed me to shadow him for the day and explained to me everything he did. He went through how he runs Studio44's social media platforms so posting recent articles he has written or the latest Studio44 activity on the Facebook and Twitter page. He also talked me through the SEO side of his job so the improvements he makes to websites to increase their SEO and boost their search rankings.

Today I carried out some more research on how social media can improve a website's SEO before shadowing Will for the afternoon providing me with a practical application to what I learnt. My final task was to write this article and it comes to an end I am starting to feel sad about leaving the office as the atmosphere and staff have been amazing the whole week.

If anyone is considering applying for work experience at Studio44 I would defiantly recommend it, I have had such an amazing time and have learnt so much.
