The Brief

After researching web design agencies on Google, James Barr tasked us with the design and build of a website for his sports events and hospitality company – TN4 Hospitality. The nature of the industry that TN4 Hospitality operates in meant that it was important to incorporate high quality imagery within the professional design to help attract custom and show his business in the best light. Other requirements include the following:

  • Simple Navigation
  • Responsive Development

The Interview

Tell us a bit about your business and how important your presence on the web is to it?

Just over 8 years ago I joined a sporting agency in London with a whole host of global contracts. This enabled me to work on six out of the seven continents, including Formula 1 racing across Europe, Asia, America and Australia, a marathon in Botswana, World Athletics in Berlin and other major UK based events including the Open Golf Championships, Goodwood Festival of Speed and Birmingham Motor Show.

At the start of 2014 I decided to combine my passion for sport and the knowledge I’d gained from around the world to create my own company TN4 Hospitality. We specialise in event management, global marketing and sporting hospitality so whether you are looking to plan a sporting event from scratch, need management at an existing event or just looking for sporting hospitality tickets we have contacts on all corners of the globe.

I can never stress enough to people how important it is to have a good website, in our case all the work we do is very visual; sporting sites, hospitality suites, private yachts, a few pictures can say a thousand words and we are only as good as our last event so updating the site with recent pictures for potential new clients is vitally important.

Do you feel the new website accurately represents the image of your business?

I use the words simple and visual a lot. My brief was that I needed a professional website that was simple to navigate through but was also very visual with lots of different high definition pictures showing potential new clients our recent work. Studio44 hit the nail on the head and from the first draft I knew I had picked the right company.

Are there any specific elements of design or functionality that stand out to you?

I think the site as a whole works perfectly but I always have that extra-large smile on my face every day when I click on to the site and see the homepage - big high definition picture and clear navigational links to our services and other pages.

How did you find the experience of working with Studio44 on this project?

Fun but professional.

After my initial local search of web design companies, the website that stood out to me was Studio44’s and after my first meeting and first website draft I knew I’d picked the right team.

Would you work with Studio44 on future projects?

As my business grows, my site will grow too and will need further development so I’ll definitely be picking up the phone and speaking with Studio44. I hope that I can recommend their services to friends or clients in the future too.

This website, along with all new launches, is placed on cloud servers which makes for faster loading times amongst other benefits. Tests taken at the time of writing this show that the page loads in 0.42 seconds, with 91% of web pages in the world being slower this is great news for the end user as well as for search engine rankings. Google considers anything more than 1.5 second load times to be slow and will reward sites that are below this figure. This means that TN4 Hospitality’s website is built upon strong foundations, primed to add more features and functionality as future business success dictates.
